From 2011 NAPA Email:

ALCON,

I know you are very busy and TAD/CME funds are not easy to come by. Here are some free CME opportunities I wanted to share with you. If you are active duty, reserves, or "retired" but employed by DoD or VA, you should be able to get in on the following:

1. SAFPA CME VTC/VTT re-broadcast. Basically, this is the annual Society of Air Force PAs annual CME held in San Antonio each November. It was all recorded with high-quality video & audio and the Army Medical Department & School is going to shoot it out via VTC/VTT. The POC is Mr. Ricardo Robinson and I have attached information for you to review if you are interested in this. I have cleared with him and also with SAFPA POC - LtCol Tim Howerton, and you are encouraged to take advantage of this great opportunity if you can break away from primary workload the afternoons of 2-6 May. You will earn Cat 1 CME...without the travel & expense. All you need is a VTC/VTT person in your neck of the woods to help get you registered and take care of the technical aspects.

3. Vaccine Healthcare Network (VHC). They also have free CME for you...CEU for folks who work with/for you. Go to www.vhcinfo.org
