NAPA Leadership Opportunities
NAPA Elections Notice! By 27 May 2012, we will conduct elections for several NAPA Board of Directors positions. It is YOUR chance to lead YOUR organization. Don't just sit on the sidelines and complain...get involved. These leadership opportunities are very important and career-enhancing. We are looking for folks to fill positions such as President-Elect, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Directors at Large. Our NAPA Secretary (Steve Rogers) will serve as Elections Chair.

In 2010, The Naval Association of Physician Assistants (NAPA) underwent a HUGE transition. We no longer have AAPA management services and are now "on our own." NAPA (volunteer) leadership has taken more of a direct role in our day-to-day operations as well as long-term strategic planning. NAPA will continue to be an organization which meets and exceeds its members expectations.
If you are a member who is interested in becoming more involved in NAPA activities, please consider the following positions. These are outstanding leadership opportunities:
- Membership Chair
- Website & Database Manager
- Historian
- Legislative and Professional Practice Chair
- CME Chairperson
- Student BOD Member
If your time is limited or you are more interested in short-term projects, consider the following:
- Write an article for The Navigator - NAPA's newsletter
- Provide ideas/suggestions for the NAPA website
- Identify non-dues revenue opportunities to support the organizations operations, CME development, etc.
- Recruit a member to join NAPA (or encourage a member to renew membership)
