Yes its getting close to that time, the AAPA conference is just a few months away.  Funding is tight and so getting the most bang for your buck is important.  I can attest that it is at this conference you can get lots of CME's.  So consider going, and follow your guidance from our specialty leader and your command for funding or no-cost TAD orders.  Our leaders will be there, NAPA has arranged for the detailer and specialty leader to attend---THIS IS HUGE if you need that face to face time, especially if your coming from overseas.  The Agenda and location will be a direct link on the welcome page.  So check it out.  comments are welcome

Good day to all, its that time of year when you can recognize an outstanding PA through a nomination in our awards program.  go to the tab and hit the link for this years message from LT Stephens.  We need to continue to foster those within and who support our community.  Be a leader and select someone outstanding.  Good hunting.

Sadly I noticed that the website posted this message
The AMSUS Executive Director and its Board of Managers regret to inform you that we find it necessary to postpone the AMSUS 118th Annual Continuing Education Meeting. Due to unexpected circumstances beyond our control, we have been unable to secure the attendance of a sufficient number of military and federal health professionals to go forward with the meeting at this time. The AMSUS legacy of excellence will be sustained and we will present a continuing series of future meetings as soon as circumstances permit. We will work closely with our members, exhibitors, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders to resolve the many administrative details related to this postponement. We thank you for your continued support."

NAPA Navigator newsletter. Get your articles, stories, photos, announcements in ASAP. Send to our editor - Jed Juachon. Thanks!

AAPA Renewal. Don't forget to inform AAPA that you want NAPA listed as YOUR constituent organization. We need this done by each and every Navy PA...to ensure we keep our seats in the AAPA House of Delegates.

ACTION PHOTOS. Send your action shots to Kishla Askins. As you recall, she put together the PA Motivator a year or so ago. She wants to do another one with current pictures. Contribute to the cause!

Effective today, I am turning the NAPA Webmaster position over to Graham Danyleyko. In 2010, I led a team to build this new site for our Navy PA community and have served as your Webmaster since then. I hope you have found the site to be useful, relevant, and current. It has been a lot of hard work and long hours to get us where we are now and I certainly appreciate your support and faith in me as we developed and launched the site two years ago. Special thanks to my fellow NAPA BOD members who have been instrumental to our ongoing success.

Our new Webmaster is eager to take over and has great ideas for further improvements. He shares my belief that this site needs to remain as a central place for ALL Navy PAs (active, reserve, retired, students) to refer to keep track of what is happening in our community.

I ask you all to support Graham Danyleyko in his efforts.

Together, we will continue to move NAPA forward.

    Thank you.

    Ron Perry, NAPA Past-President
