NAPA has a long history of providing LTJG shoulder boards to IPAP Phase 2 graduates during their graduation & commissioning ceremony in San Diego each year. This is something we all want to continue doing. The shoulder boards are not cheap, so we would greatly appreciate you taking a few moments to go through your sea chest to locate yours & send them in to CDR Jessie Gross. Dear Sailors of Class 3-10,

 

On behalf of the Naval Association of Physician Assistants, I'd like to congratulate you on your monumental accomplishment.  Bravo Zulu on a job well done!  You are half-way there on joining your fellow brothers and sisters as Navy Physician Assistants in the Medical Service Corps.  Take time to applaud yourselves, and kick up your heels for your short break between Phase I and Phase II.  As you move from the hot Texas weather to sunny San Diego, enjoy the cooler Pacific weather and beaches.  Remember to continue taking care of yourselves and your families.  During Phase II, please take every opportunity to step-up, see patients, and apply everything you've learned in Phase I.  We know you will.  We are proud of you and your tremendous milestone.

Folks - if you are a Navy PA (active, reserves, retired) the NAPA BOD needs your support in the form of dues payment. Thanks to those of you who are paid up to date. Please help us to motivate those who have forgotten or otherwise been too busy to take care of their dues. Let's get our active membership numbers up! Pay your dues...remind your Shipmates to do the same. Support the organization that supports you!

IPAP Phase 1 Closing Ceremony for Class 3-10 will be at 1300 on 19 August at Blesse Auditorium, Willis Hall (Bldg 2841), AMEDDC&S, Fort Sam Houston.

IPAP Phase 2 Graduation and Commissioning for Class 3-09 will be at 1000 on 07 October at the Admiral Kidd Club in San Diego. 

Please attend if able and congratulate these soon-to-be Navy PAs!

It was great to see so many folks at the annual NAPA Meeting on 31 May! Several of you stated you would join or renew and some of you donated cash or check to the NAPA fund. THANK YOU.
